The first Session of African National Olympic Academies was held from 12 to 15 October 2014 in Tunis, under the aegis of ANOCA and with its support and that Tunisian NOC. It’s work has taken place under the chairmanship of General Intendant Lassana Palenfo, President of ANOCA and with the participation of Mr. Mehrez Boussayène, President and the members of the Directing Board of Tunsian NOC.
Mrs Aminata Maiga Keita, First Lady of Mali, Vice-President of AANOA and President of NOA of Mali moved to Tunis on this occasion. The President of Tunisian Republic, in response to the request of AANOA kindly book him an official welcome worthy of her rank and assumed her sojourn in Tunisia.
Representatives of 16 African NOA’s took part in the session work (Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Guinea, Kenya, Comoros, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Chad, Togo and Tunisia ).
